When you have a financial goal that you are working towards, it can help reduce stress because you have a plan. In addition, breaking down a goal to make it more manageable is going to be less stressful. An example of a SMART goal is: I will save $50 our of each paycheck (paid 2 times a month) by October 10, 2023 (for one year) so I have $1,200 to use for unexpected expenses.
