Exercising Each Day

Exercise has been another important part of eliminating anxiety from my life. When I get my heart rate up and get those endorphins flowing, I instantly feel better. And the best part is that exercise doesn’t have to be boring – there are so many ways to get moving that are fun and enjoyable! Some of my favorite exercises include walking, elliptical, yoga, cross country skiing, kayaking, jump rope, and even dancing around my living room! Just find something that gets you moving and do it for at least 30 minutes each day. Trust me, you’ll feel better for it.

Eliminating Social Media After 6:00 PM

This was a tough one for me because let’s be real – social media is addicting. But after doing some research, I realized that being on social media late at night was actually making my anxiety worse because it was keeping me from relaxing and winding down before bed. So now, every night at 6:00 PM sharp, I put my phone down & avoid social media – I do however, need it for communicating with friends & family. It’s been a game-changer for my sleep quality and overall anxiety levels. If you’re someone who struggles with social media addiction like I did, give this a try and see how it goes!

Finding Enjoyment in Life

Finally, I have eliminated anxiety from my life by making time for things that I truly enjoy doing. This looks different for everyone. For me, it includes painting my nails with gel polish (I’m obsessed!), learning more about essential oils (I just signed up for a class!), and spending time outside in nature (it really brings me peace!). Find things that bring joy into your life. Make time for them every day – even if it’s just 10-15 minutes. You’ll be surprised how much of a difference it makes! It’s a mood booster!
